echo $title1; ?> Game Overview
EverQuest II EQ2 is a fantasy MMO massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) developed by Sony Online Entertainment.
Story
EverQuest II is set on the world of Norrath 500 years after the The Planes of Power storyline of the original EverQuest game. The gods withdrew from the world in retaliation for mortal incursions into their planes. On Norrath itself, Orcs and Dark Elves destroyed much of Faydwer while the Goblins, Ogres, Orcs, and Giants ravaged Antonica. Transport and communication to the moon Luclin were cut off.
100 years ago the continent of Antonica was torn apart into smaller islands. The oceans became impassible which prevents contact between the continents of Norath. Fifteen years ago, the moon Luclin exploded and parts of the Shattered moon remain in the sky.
The game takes place in the Age of Destiny. Queen Antonia Bayle of Qeynos is a benevolent sorceress who welcomes all good races to her city to help rebuild Norrath. Lucan D'Lere, The Overlord of Freeport rules the evil races in his plans of conquest.
Gameplay
EverQuest II players creates a character to interact in the world of Norrath. Players can adventure complete quests, explore the world, kill monsters and gain treasures and experience and socialize with other players. Everquest 2 also features a tradeskill system which allows players to create items for in game use.
Player may choose the character's race and class during character creation. Various classes have specialized abilities for their class. EverQuest II enables social interaction with other players through grouping and the creation of guilds.
