2 Moons Game Overview
2Moons is a free to play MMO MMORPG. The game is an adaptation
Dekaron for the US Market with a new story line.
Gameplay
Players control a single character to do quests and defeating
friends or monsters to gain experience and increase their
skills.
Mount system
After achieving Level 95 players may use mount tokens. Mount
Tokens provide player one day to use a mount. Mounts increase a
players movement speed by 58%. Mounts are very expensive. Mounts may
also be purchased from the Acclaim Shop using Acclaim Coins.
Classes
Players can choose one of six character classes. Each
class has different benefits and drawbacks. Character classes are permanent one
they have been selected. Unlike most other MMO's there are
no races.
- Azure Knight: Knights are traditional mele combatants
with offensive self buff skills. Knights may dual wield one handed weapons,
use shields or use a two handed weapon.
- Segnale: Segnale is a humanoid rage that wield
Whips and have an arsenal of effect spells such as curses and party
buffs spells. Their primary function is to be a healer.
- Incar Magician: mainly uses offensive spells and can use
wands and staffs as well.
- Segita Hunter: This is an archer class. Hunters can use
Crossbows, Daggers, and Bows.
- Vicious Summoner: Can summon creatures to aid them in battle.
They can choose to specialize in wielding Staffs or dual blades.
- Bagi Warrior: This is 2Moons tank character. Bagi Warriors
specialize in the use of buffs and various combat combos and use
Gauntlets.
Quests
Quests are available to players after acheiving a certain level.
Each quest differ and include running to different NP's to
deliver information or items, killing
certain monsters. Some quests are unique to each class and offer
different rewards. The 2Moons Quest Log automatically keeps track of both
completed and unfinished quests. Commission Quests may be obtained from the
Commission Center in Parca Temple or Draco Desert, these quests grant
Adventure Points and a random reward which can be donated to
guilds.
Events
Game Masters often conduct various player-driven special events for the
community. These events are posted on the forums in advance and give
players plenty of notice so that any who choose to attend may do so.
There are also regular scheduled which offer Double Experience. These
events are conducted on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Wednesday events last one hour. The remianing days are twice daily and last 6
hours.
Support
2Moons has a multi-layered support system with Game Sages, Volunteer Game
Masters and moderators. Each regulating different parts of the game.
Technical support is also available at the 2Moons forum or IRC chat
or by asking a marked support member in game.
Combat
Player versus Environment
Players gain experience through combat against monsters which are
found in most areas. Players may attack monsters and once attacked they
will counterattack. Monster their own respawn location and will respawn
shortly after being killed. Most monsters will attack players who enter
their aggression range.
Player VS
Player
PVP is consentual in any area. The winner of a duel in 2Moons earns PvP
points but oddly there is no known use for the points. Defeated
players of a duel is reincarnated on the spot and recovers with
minimal health and mana.
Player killing can only be performed in areas outside a safety zone but is
still consensual. There are no PVP points for PK battles. Winners of a
non-consensual fight may gain PK and Inclination Points if the attacked
player did not fight back. The defeated player must respawn from a set return
point. Players with IP can be attacked and killed outside safety zones without
consequences for the attacker and may not use shops or the teleportation
system. They will also be sent to jail in case of death and can also
be attacked by NPC guards. While in jail, time may be paid off with
bribes.
2Moons includes a shield system is only used in Player Versus Player combat.
The shield activates against attacks launched by another player
and provides additional protection. Its strength is based on the armour
rating, health, and level of the player. It prevents quick killing of weakened
players which gives them a chance to run away.
Experience Experience points
earned in battle vary depending on the level of the monster and the level of the
player as in most MMORPG Games. Monsters five levels or more than the player
have a display name in red. Monsters much lower than the player have a
display name in green. Monsters that are very near the players level have a
display name in white.
There are five penalty's for player death including the 15 hour respawn
delay. Players can die with fear of losing experience and items in 2
Moons.
