Cabal Online Game Overview

Cabal Online is a MMORPG game or MMO for short, pronounced as kah-ball. It set in a 3rd person view perspective. Like most MMO games, it includes a PvP system, skill and class Cabal Online pic 1 system and a guild system. There is also a combo system within its game play. The Combo system allows Cabal Online players to have more effective attacks based on timing. The main aspect of leveling in Cabal Online is quests. Most quests involve moving from one place to another, interacting with NPCs, dungeon quests and kill quests. The Mythical world of Cabal Online known as Nevareth, has been decimated by an evil entity known as CABAL. Survivors of the destruction were scattered across the landscape. Seven masters rose up, each possessing the ancient art of the Force Power. The masters taught the people of the Nevareth and rebuilt the world. After one year CABAL is planning a return by rearing a child to be the new king of the Nevareth.Cabal Online players take up the role of heroes to battle the CABAL. Cabal Online's skill system allows players alter their skills completely by paying in-game currency. At every 10th level players must quest to earn special skills: an astral weapon, aura mode, battle mode, combo start or they can choose to upgrade these skills instead of obtaining a new one. The PvP system rewards players with one honor point for besting their opponent but there is a 3 minute limit in which this must be accomplished. The defeated player is automatically sent to the nearest town with no penalties for death.

Player Versus Player ( PvP )

Cabal Online players can challenge other players to pvp Cabal Online pic 2 combat. They can bet Alz and Honor Points for the dual. They can also start the PvP combat without betting by hitting the Cancel button. If the opposing player accepts the PvP request, he will be informed of the amount of Alz and Honor Points that are bet by the challenger. Players can choose to decline the PvP challenge. Once accepted they will receive message and will be given 3 minutes to complete the battle. The winner will be informed of the winning prize and the loser will be revived from the closest warp gate with no penalties.

Player Kill ( PK )

To begin a PK simply click a target character then use the Shift key and a skill button to initiate the attack. The victim will receive a message informing that a PK has started. The PK will be automatically ended if there is no interaction after a set time. Players may use potions while PKing. PKing has severe penalties.
  • Attempting another PK while in PK Penalty status will cause the player to lose 1,000 Honor Points.
  • Killing a character while in PK Penalty status causes the player to lose 10,000 Honor Points in addition to the 1,000 points that they lose from attempting a PK.
  • Additional PK attempts while in PK Penalty status causes the severity and duration of penalty to be increased.
  • 1st killing: The player cannot use shops for 10 minutes and their name turns Orange.
  • 2nd killing: The player cannot interact with any NPCs for 30 minutes and their name turns Red.
  • 3rd killing: The player cannot interact with any NPCs for 60 minutes and can be PK ed by other players without penalty to the other player and the players name remains Red.
  • 4th consecutive PK: The player cannot interact with any NPCs for 100 minutes and there is a chance of dropping equipment upon death and their name turns Black.
  • 5th consecutive PK: Confinement within a labyrinthine prison for 150 minutes and their name turns Red.

Character classes

There are six character character classes in Cabal Online known as the Authentic Six.
  • Warrior

      Cabal Online Warriors have inherited the very first form of force and practice physical strength by using force rather than manipulating it. Because they prioritize physical power over technique and speed, their fights are often more exciting and dynamic. However their understanding of force manipulation is limited so their intelligence is given less priority during training. Experienced warriors are able to awaken their latent abilities and use the force to become berserker warriors. They can also summon Astral Weapons by experiencing a spiritual awakening in force. Warriors begin the game in Bloody Ice. They have superior attack and defense skills making them formidable in both Pvp and PvE. Most of their skills are slower to cast than other classes, but their damage is greater. Their prefered weapons are a 2 handed great sword or a 2 handed daikatana. Their Summoned Astral Weapon is a scythe.


  • Blader

      Cabal Online Blader's focus on maximizing physical abilities by using force. They use technique and speed over destructive power. Duel weilding Swords is their primary weapon choice and wear light armor such as Martial Suit Set from the Huan continent for speed. The have limited understanding of force and mainly practice physical strength and agility. Experienced bladers can create multiple doppelgangers can bring instant death to enemies by summoning deadly Astral Weapons which are the results of their spiritual awakening in force. Cabal Online Bladers begin their journey in Desert Scream. They have superior attack and defense rates. Heavy Bladers wear Warrior armors. Their skills are rather fast and some do AOE. Bladers are good for beginners. A bladers Summoned Astral Weapon are claws.


  • Wizard

      Wizards manipulate Force to compensate for their physical weakness. Wizards use an aggressive Force controller called Orb can equip an orb in each hand to double their power which enables them to cast multiple magic spells at the same time. Cabal Online Wizards invest in intelligence in to efficiently control Force. They prefer to use light armor such as Martial Suit Set. They avoid using metallic armor as it prevents them from close contact with outer forces. Experienced wizards able to simultaneously use multiple spells to inflict enormous damage. Wizards begin game play in Desert Scream. Most Wizard's skills have AOE and their defense is very low, but their AOE skills have stun and knockdown effects making them nearly unhittable in PvE. Their stun-knockdown attacks combine with their Fade Step-Dash-Blink skills makes them hard to kill in pvp. A Wizards Summoned Astral Weapon is the Orb.


  • Force Archer

      Force Archers use long-range magic spells, and studied how to intensify the potency of magic spells. It is common knowledge among force handlers that the relation between range and space is an inverse proportion to the one between space and power. Force Archer skills use distance and speed rather than space and power. They use Crystals which are advanced versions of a Wizard's Orb which are used to control force rather than intensifying it. They can use Astral Bows which reduces the risk of power loss when using long range force while improving force control and attack speed at the same time. Controlling Crystals require physical strength and agility. The Force Archers unique battle style do not require much movment in combat. They wear armor Battle Suit Set from the Pastur continent which provides better defense than clothing armor. Experienced Force Archers can perform quick long-range force attacks. After achieving master level in force control they are able to deliver a fatal blow to their foe from a far distance with one shot. Cabal Online Force Archers begin game play in Green Despair. The have the longest attack range of all classes as well as the fastest casting time. With average defense skills they have several support skills and healing abilities. They are good PvP comatents because of their long range and the high damage that they deal out. Their Summoned Astral Weapon are a pair of dual guns.


  • Force Blader

    Cabal Online Force Bladers are agile and have precise attack strikes in combat. They are not able to wear armor heavier than Battlesuit Set. They use use Orbs to focus on destructive power rather than Force control. They are unable to perform support magic spells unlike Force Shielders and must find ways to improve their power. They use sword and magic spells at the same to compensate for the weakness. Force Bladers have a unique battle skill as called Magic Sword Skills. Because Force Bladers must be equally skillful in fencing and magic they must balance their practice in physical strength and intelligence. Experienced Force Bladers are able to combine any magic spell with sword skills and can inflict lots of damage by mastering these combonations. Force Bladers begin their game play in Green Despair. They are the hardest to level because they must constantly skill train both Magic and Sword skills but are considered to ultimatly be most powerful at higher levels. They posess extremely powerful debuff skills and if used properly can give them advantage over their enemy. Force Bladers use powerful hard hitting skills. It is recomended that bigginers not start out as a Force Blader. They may use blade/crystal, katana/orb, katana/crystal, blade/orb for their weapons choice. Their Summoned Astral Weapon is an Arm Cannon.

  • Force Shielder

    The Astral Shield opened a new chapter in the history of Nevarethian armor. It has high defense strength and can serve offensive purposes as well. Force Shielders specialize in short range force control and are incapable of doing long range attacks except through magic. They make up for this weakness with supporting magic spells which increase their attack strength by manipulating outer forces near their body. Force Shielders are required to invest in physical strength in order to equip the Armor Suit which is the strongest and heaviest armor as. They also need dexterity to increase their hit rate since they can only use one handed swords. Experienced Force Shielders can manipulate Astral Shields and can perfect their defense by mastering short range force control. Cabal Online Force Shielders begin in Bloody Ice. They are a Hybrid class with high defense and the potential to do high damage. They have very powerful AOE skills. Magic Force Shielders are best for PvP because of their range. They may use blade/crystal for PvE or katana/orb for PvP. Their Summoned Astral Weapon is a bigger shield that can be thrown like a boomerang.

Battle Mode

Please note that players cannot combo in any Battle Modes or Aura until they have achieved very high levels.

Aura

Aura can be attained at at level 20 after completing the required quest. Players can choose between water, ice, fire, thunder, earth, or wind.

Battle Mode 1 Can be gained at level 30 after completing the required quest. Battle Mode 1s are different for each class.
  • Berserker: Warriors can gain an increase in their stats.
  • Illusionist: Bladers gain an increase in stats, critical damage and critical rates.
  • Chain Caster: Wizards can gain an increase stats and magic power.
  • Multi Shooter: Force Archers can gain an increase in stats and the ability to multi target.
  • Counter Attack: Force Shielders gain an increase in stats and reflect damage from normal attacks. .
  • Force Enchanter: Force Bladers gain a lot of stats but cannot use any offensive magic while useing this form
Aura, Battle Mode 1 & Guild At level 40, you are allowed to use Aura and Battle Mode 1 together (you will use up 2 SP bars). You are also allowed to create a guild at the cost of 10 million alz.

Battle Mode 2

Can be gained at level 50 after completing the battle style level up quest.
Unlike, Battle Mode 1 and Aura, each class summons an Astral Weapon and gains a specific skill that can only be used during Battle Mode 2.

  • Lancer : Warriors gain an increase in stats and summons an Astral Lance.
  • Double Caster : Wizards gains an increase in stats and Orbs transform into Astral Orbs during the duration of the mode. They can target two enemies at a time and are able overlap the casting of two spells.
  • Grappler : Bladers gain an increase in stats and swaps out dual bladers/katanas for a pair of Astral Claws. Most other skills cannot be used during this mode but they will attack extremely fast with normal attacks. Special skill is Crushing Blow which does alot of damage to a single target. Crushing Blow is also infamous for 1-hit killing when it criticals.
  • Shield Master: Force Shielders gain an increase in stats and gets rid of weapon to summon an Astral Blade Shield. Normal attacks have a slight AOE effect and will be thrown like a boomerang. Special skill is Shield Storm casts lighting 360 degrees around the Force Shielder damaging any monster near by monster.
  • Twin Gunner : Force Archers gain an increase in stats and summons dual handguns. Normal attack are faster and able to attack two targets or one with the handguns. Special skill is Fatal Shot which does alot of damage to a single target.
  • Blade Shooter : Force Bladers gain increased stats and will summon an Arm Cannon. Offensive magic cannot be used until the Arm Cannon is charged with the sword skills. There are four stages and the Cannon can be charged up to 3 times, each time gaining an elemental orb. The more charged up the cannon, the more damage it will do and has a knockback effect as well but no AOE effect. Special skill Prismatic Blade Cannon or Freezematic Blade


Weapon Categories

There are no class specific weapon or no level requirements however there are stat requirements.

  • Great Sword - A giant sword held with both hands which has the most powerful attack strength of all other weapons. It has high combat attack with a lower hit rate and lower magic attack rate. It requires strength.

  • Daikatana - A two handed Daikatana with less attack strength than a Great Sword but is more popular among Warriors because of its light weight and higher hit rate but lower attack damage. Requires Strength and Dex.

  • Blade - Preferred by Bladers and Force Shielders because of their destructive power. Blades have higher attack power but less magic than katanas. They are 1 handed and can be wielded with another blade or katana/orb/crystal.

  • Katana - Preferred by agile Bladers and Force Bladers. Equipped with one hand, very light yet as powerful as other weapons. Katanas have higher magic and lower attack than blades. They are 1 handed and can be weilded with another katana or blade/orb/crystal.


Orb

Orbs are a Force controller used by Wizards and Force Bladers. It intensifies Force rather than Force control. The provide higher magic but less combat attack. 1 handed and can be weilded with another orb or blade/katana/crystal.

Crystal

Crystals are used by Force Archers and Force Shielders which specialize in Force control rather than Force intensification. They are required to be equipped with Astral Shields and Bows . They offer higher attack but less magic. They are one handed and can be weilded with another crystal or blade/katana/orb.

Armor Categories

There are no class specific armors or level requirements except but restricted classes that speify an armor type

  • Armorsuit Set - Traditional armor produced in Midreth, the north continent. Primarely made with leather and metal with a higher defense rate but are heavier than other armors. Typically Warriors and Force Shielders equipped this set. Armorsuit Sets provide a higher defense than all the other sets but has the lowest defense rate.

  • Battlesuit Set - The traditional clothes armor produced in Pastur, the west continent. Pasturians like armor that is functional, light and comfortable to move in. This set provides medium defense rate and the design is considered the best among the existing armor types. It offers a nice balance of defense and defense rate.

  • Martialsuit Set - The traditional armor produced in Huan, the tropical south continent. This set is loose fitted and made with extremely light fibers for better air circulation. It is produced with a special metallic fiber skill based on core technology. Its durability is remarkable considering they are mere summer clothes. Martialsuit Set has the least amount of defense, but provides the highest defense rate.
