The adventurers of DOFUS have been getting worried… New, seemingly unfriendly NPCs have been seen around the stadiums of Bonta and Brakmar. Apparently, they’ve got a kind of black market going, selling sought-after items. But the only thing they’ll take in exchange is an unknown currency with a strange name… Gobbowkens.

They say these tokens of copper, iron and gold are awarded as prizes during prestigious Gobbowl tournaments…

They’ve arrived in DOFUS ! And although they look like dodgy dealers, they’re actually passionate ex-Gobbowlers ! Check out their wares and you’ll find some offers that are hard to turn down…

But if you want them, you’re going to have to get your studs on and rack up some wins!

That’s right: take part in our Gobbowl tournaments and you might just win some Gobbowkens! Then all you’ll have to do is speak to the NPCs in DOFUS (who are friendlier than they look, honest!) to spend them.

Mission and Primary Duties:

Ankama Games is looking for mature, responsible and passionate citizens who are excited about video games, communities and social media to join our International Marketing team in the role of Wakfu English Community Manager. You will be interacting with English-speaking gamers from around the world as they discover an exciting new MMORPGRPG, and you will help Ankama build a strong, vibrant community of gamers around a game that encourages gamer control. You will be responsible for substence creation, managing the relationships with fans, proactively identifying issues or areas in need of attention within the community.


Your main tasks will be:

· Brainstorming, creating, and executing community strategies for a beta-stage MMORPGRPG
· Facilitating communication between Ankama and the gamer base, interacting and reporting on gamer feedback
· Managing and recruiting teams of volunteers to moderate in game and on the official forums
· Organizing events in game and on the website, forums, or social media outlets
· Working with different teams throughout the organization, development, testing, web, and others to aid in the development of the brand as a whole
· Creating and managing substence for the community site and other social media outlets in order to engage, educate, and excite gamers
· Identifying and supporting key users requests and community needs, converting users into evangelists
· Assisting with growing all key community metrics and overall site engagement in requested territories


Job Requirements:

· Fluency in English is required (native speakers preferred)
· Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written
· Prior experience working in a community management environment
· Knowledge of and on-going interest in social media trends, methods of communication and evangelizing
· Dynamic personality, good teamwork and interpersonal skills

Pluses:

· Fluency or a good level of French
· Detailed knowledge of WAKFU and other Ankama products
· Some experience in different types of media construction (audio, video, graphic, html)

Your Mission
You will be responsible for French to English translations of the text in our games, products, websites, and promotional materials.

Job Requirements:

• You speak perfect English (mandatory)
• You have a background from higher education in translation and/or experience in the field of translation, you know how to use translation tools
• You're rigorous, autonomous and enjoy working in teams
• You know how to use the Office suite and have some knowledge of HTML
• Knowledge of video games in general and Ankama's games in specific is required.

Since this package arrived on the pier, the substences have been pacing like a caged Kaniger. The destination was marked as Kwismas Island. An attached message reads : "Warning! Any adventurer who tries to tame this pooch could become a rawhide chewtoy… Sometimes this Doggie likes to bite the hand that feeds him..."

This morning some adventurous sailors nearly dropped their telescopes when they saw the glad aparition off their starboard bows… Kwismas Island, drifting into view! You too can feast your eyes on that happy isle starting December 6th, and see if the reports of these mariners are accurate, or if they’re quaffing too much Pandawa Ale…

Just a few of the wild stories these sodden souses spouted concerned tales of Kwismas adventures that no one has ever seen before ! They babbled and blithered unceasingly and with no context, but between the ravings, a few coherent phrases were often repeated… "three new outfits made of chocolate kamas…. Emote quests with a petsmount… incarnations…. Arts and crafts… no snow… Presents from the Minotoball…. " Sheer madness, but could it have any basis in reality at all ?
