9Dragons Game Overview
9Dragons is a MMORPG Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or MMO published by Indy21. It was remastered for the Western Market for Acclaim Games by best-selling American author Steven-Elliot Altman. 9Dragons features 3D graphics and traditional MMO control schemes. It is set in China during the Ming Dynasty and includes Chinese geography and historical features such as the Great Wall of China and the famous Shaolin Temple.
Players can join The Clans in 9Dragons. They are based upon various schools of Kung Fu and are separated into two major factions, The White Clans which is loyal to the Imperial Emperor, and The Black Clans with no allegiance. The White Clans include: Shaolin which may have male disciples only, Wu-Tang Clan, and The League of Beggars. The Black Clans include: Sacred Flower which may have female disciples only, The Brotherhood of Thieves, and Heavenly Demon Clan. Each Clan has its own separate requirements for admission.
Classes
After achieving Opening Chi 1, player's may choose a role in the clan which are broked into four distinct classes
- Warrior: Warriors are the masters of their respective clan's main weapon. They are usually the first to rush into combat. A Warrior's skills are focused on dealing direct damage to their opponent. They are high on Constitution, Dexterity, and Strength, and Essence is hard for them to develop.
- Healer: Healers are users of their clan's secondary weapon, and their focus for abilities are on buffing and healing other members. Healer's are able to heal external and internal injuriest. Essence and Wisdom are their main attributes and Constitution is tough for them to develop.
- Nuker: Nuker's are specialist in the Chi Kung arts handed down in their clan. They deal long-range damage to their target with skills which can do large amounts of damage. Their primary attributes are Essence and Wisdom. Strength does not come easy for Nukers and they do not perform well in melee combat.
- Hybrid: The Hybrid is a combination of the previous three classes. A Hybrid's main attributes are Constitution and Essence
