• Trader - Traders are the primary goods hauler. They drive the pack animals and take the tradable goods from one NPC area to another.
  
  
• Hunter - Hunters can become part of a convoy and serve a protector role. Any hunters that complete a trade route with a trader earn a portion of the job experience and money received from the trade goods.
  
  
• Thief - Thieves aim to interrupt convoy progression and finish the convoy themselves with the goods that they pick up off the massacred traders and hunters.

• Warrior - The Warrior employs a close-ranged fighter's style of play, using the heaviest European armor, and the ability to use any of three weapon setups - two-handed sword, one-handed sword with shield, and dual axes. Each of these enables certain abilities. They range from stunning, pushing opponents backwards, knocking them, or other status afflictions such as slowing them down or limiting their ability to parry. The warrior's strikes are powerful, giving them great potential as tanks, damage dealers and status afflicters.
  • A warrior taunts opponents, luring enemies to attack her rather than other players in the vicinity.
  • There is no shortage of power in slashes delivered by the two-handed sword.
  • Employing the Turn Rising skill with an upwards swing knocks enemies down.
  • This warrior has a one-handed sword with a shield, not as damaging as a two-hander, but better for defense.
  • Lunging at an Evil Order Warrior with an overhand chop.
  • Using dual axes, the warrior can attack at a fevered pace compared to swords.

• Rogue - The Rogue is by far the most elusive. Stealthy and fast, this archetype specializes in using daggers for close quarters combat. Characters are also quite proficient with a crossbow, a perfect weapon for long-range surprise attacks. While they are able to poison attackers and sprint away from dangerous situations, it is their mastery of stealth truly that makes their class one to be reckoned with.
  • Daggers are the primary close-combat weapon type for the rogue class.
  • A rogue attacks using a dagger combo and finishing it off with an impressive flip-kick.
  • Using the stealth ability allows sneaking up on an enemy for a surprise attack.
  • The class favors crossbows for long-range combat.
  • Crossbow skills include a few that knock enemies to the ground.
  • One of the most important rogue skills is the ability to move unseen.

• Wizard - The wizard is a powerful mage with strong offensive abilities. They wear the lightest armor of all European classes, but cause more damage than any of their peers with their potent elemental magic. The wizard's talent for invisibility, detection, teleportation, and concentration intensifies their ability to do damage while keeping them safe as they prowl the dangerous wilds of Silkroad Online.
  • The elusive wizard uses an invisibility spell to sneak through a dangerous area unnoticed.
  • She incinerates an unsuspecting giant spider using a fire elemental / mentalist spell.
  • Here, she zaps her enemy with a bolt of lightning from the skies above.
  • The wizard rains fire upon her enemies in a large radius.
  • She shows her earth elemental/mentalist prowess by lifting the ground below her enemy.
  • She creates a miniature blizzard to damage an enemy and hamper its movement.

• Warlock - Commonly known as the debuffing archetype, it has an impressive arsenal of techniques to dispel helpful buffs, as well as a number of status-inflicting curses that can stun or poison a target. With other tricks up their sleeves like laying traps and casting illusions that make them appear to be a lower-level character, this option is one of the most versatile in the game.
  • The class-exclusive Warlock Rod is often paired with a sturdy shield.
  • The Blood Flower spell is a direct damage ability.
  • Sight curses are particularly helpful in limiting other players' ability to use ranged weapons.
  • Cursing an enemy with Vile Breath reduces its strength and slows it down.

• Bard - In Silkroad Online, members of the magic-based Bard class can tailor their abilities to the needs of an entire party. Highly group-focused, they have various notable tools that make them essential adventuring companions. Their main asset is the ability to use music to their advantage. In battle, they physically damage or distract their enemies' attention and redirect it elsewhere by manipulating musical notes,
  
  The archetype's non-musical abilities are also intended to assist groups. Bards can provide party buffs and cast spells that negate or prevent assorted harmful effects. They can even directly increase everyone's speed, attack power or defenses. Despite limited individual offensive capabilities, they facilitate team play, and are thus valued within the European race.
  • Bards are renowned for using their musical talents to ensure their party's chances of success.
  • This one surrounds herself with a musical barrier to deter aggressive monsters from striking preemptively.
  • She uses the Swing / Moving March to help teammates move more swiftly.
  • Bards can also use music to hold their enemies in one spot.
  • Some melodies can deal direct damage to opponents.
  • This lion has been distracted, causing it to go after other monsters

• Cleric - the Cleric is a master of healing magic that plays a very important role in party-based adventuring. Players who choose this path have the ability to restore health, cure status ailments, resurrect dead characters, and boost the defenses of fellow party members, allowing the fighters to focus on the battle at hand. Clerics are often seen in parties trying to level, with groups who are running trades, or in town selling buffs to other players.
  • A typical cleric, equipped with a rod and light armor.
  • She helps keep party members free of status afflictions.
  • Using the Bless skill, she can greatly increase a party's defenses, including her own.
  • Resurrecting fallen players is another notable ability.
  • This cleric uses her healing power to restore the HP of a party member.
  • When needed, she can also defend herself with a few attacks of her own.

• Swordsmen - those who choose this path combine wielding a large, single-edged weapon with the use of a shield to negate damage taken in battle. They are tough foes to kill, even more so since they possess high HP, knockdown skills, and their people's inherent mastery of potion usage.
  • This Chinese character wields a massive, single-edged sword and uses a shield.
  • A very useful Blader skills is the ability to knock down enemies, so they're unable to do damage.
  • They also have special attacks that take advantage of grounded enemies.
  • A strong uppercut blow from a Blader not only hurts, it can also knock the enemy off its feet.
  • Preparing a huge overhand swing, this Blader uses one of the class' many combo attacks.
  • This Blader employs a powerful slash, yet another attack that can send the enemy to the ground.

• Spearmen - may be the most widely known magic-based type. It shares the "Heuksal" mastery tree with the less magically oriented glaive. Due to its ability to dole out highest magical damage of any Chinese weapon, the spear is popular with nukers, players who can do a lot of damage at a distance, to use at range as well as in melee combat.
  • A spear-wielding Chinese character roams the vast Karakoram.
  • This character demonstrates a spear combo that includes a powerful back thrust.
  • Another combo with an overhand swing as a finishing move
  • One of the more powerful Flame Wave series nukes - highly prevalent amongst spearmen.
  • A jumping attack with a two-handed swing can leave the enemy stunned.
  • A spearman can hurl his weapon for a long-range attack.

• Archer - Archers are expert at ranged combat, and the only characters to use the Pacheon skill tree. With the ability to stun and knock back enemies, deal swaths of splash damage from a distance, and fire off multiple shots at once, they are able to take out most foes without fear of counterattack. On the rare occasions close-quarters combat becomes necessary, they are also able to summon a hawk to distract the enemy and dish out some much needed extra damage.
  • A Chinese archer and her 9th degree bow
  • Using the Arrow Combo skill, she fires arrows in quick succession, knocking back the foe.
  • The Strong Bow skill has a good chance of stunning enemies.
  • This archer pulls her bowstring taut for an Anti-Devil strike, one of the most powerful ranged attacks.
