AOC Character Classes

Mages

Demonologist: Mage Archetype

Demonologists in Age Of Conan are magic experts who have aligned strongly with the demonic forces of the world. Their magical attacks drain from the caster's own life force. Demonologist's may also summon demonic servants to do their bidding. They may only use silk armor, cloth armor, daggers, crossbows and thrown weapons.

Necromancer: Mage Archetype

The very air around Necromancers chills as they wield their corruptive, damaging magic. Necromancers bond with everything that is unholy in. They can raise and command the dead to do their bidding. They may use cloth armor, daggers, crossbows and thrown weapons.

Herald of Xotli: Mage Archetype

The Herald of Xotli are users of dark magic. The use this magic to transform into a fiery demon. While In demonic form they swing at their foes with heavy weapons as searing flames weaken everyone around them. While In human form they may only use cloth armor and the following weapons: two handed blunt, two handed edged, daggers, thrown weapons and crossbows.

Priests

Bear Shaman: Priest Archetype

Age Of Conan Bear Shamans are strong, crushing the skulls of their foe with their massive hammers while augmenting healing and resurrecting their allies. Bear Shamans get their powers from shamanistic rituals and strong ties with the spirits and nature around them. Bear Shamans may wear cloth armor, light and medium armor and make use of two handed blunt weapons, crossbows, bows and thrown weapons.

Tempest of Set: Priest Archetype

These priests wield the awesome destructive might of Set. Set is the ancient snake god of Stygia who rewards his disciples with mighty destructive powers. They have the power to heal groups and restore life. They may use a variety of martial weapons and light armor and shield. Tempest's may also wield magical talismans in the form of ancient tomes of the hearts of slain monsters.

Priest of Mitra: Priest Archetype

These priest's wield divine power that can aid, heal and even bring the dead to life. The Priests of Mitra god is one of justice, security and liberty and the priests are ready to fight to uphold these freedoms and battle against oppression, villainy, and tyranny. THey have the strongest healing powers of all classes and have a wide range of spells including martial prayers to combat their enemies with holy damage.

Rogues

Assassin: Rogue Archetype

Specialists in murder while Dual wielding daggers dealing swift and massive damage to their victims, before they slink back into the shadows from whence they came. Assassin's may use cloth armor, silk armor, crossbows and daggers.

Ranger: Rogue Archetype

Rangers are bow and crossbow specialists who attack their opponents at a distance, but also have good melee skills for up lose combat. Rangers may use cloth armor, light and medium armor, shields, one handed edged weapons, daggers, one handed blunt, crossbows and bows.

Barbarian: Rogue Archetype

Wild and untamed fighters that rely on speed and non-conventional attacks to damage their foes while sacrificing armor to achieve this goal. Barbarians may choose to dual wield smaller weapons or attack their enemies with larger weapons. Barbarians may use cloth armor, light armor, one and two handed edged weapons, one and two handed blunt weapons, thrown weapons and bows.

Soldiers

Conqueror: Soldier Archetype

These are strong and heavily armored fighters usually found in the midst of combat. The Conquerors auras inspires everyone that fights with them. The Conquerors is mainly a melee class with access to all types of armor and all types of blunt and edged weapons. They also have access to some beneficial aura type magic as well.

Guardian: Soldier Archetype

Guardians stead fast fighters and can be found in the front of combat, knocking down enemies by the scores. Guardians do not use magic, but can take more punishment than all other character classes. They may wear any type of armor, wield one handed blunt and one handed edged weapons, parmored crossbows, thrown weapons.

Dark Templar: Soldier Archetype

A fearsome warrior that utilizes dark magic to inflict pain and drain the life force out of their enemies. The Dark Templars is a melee class, but they are very adept at magic, especially life taps and the use of trinkets to increase their damage. They may use all armors and blunt weapons, plus crossbows and thrown weapons.
